Donations to Water Cycles Youth Development Programs

Proceeds from the Bikes & Blues festival support Water Cycles Expeditions and its youth development programs. These programs currently focus on expanding access to cycling and building awareness about water science and solutions in the Grand River and globally. Go our instagram page to check out the impact of last year's Bikes and Blues Festival, which led to the development of a new, interactive game, A Water Cycles Adventure. The game debuted at the Waterloo-Wellington Children's Groundwater Festival in early June 2024, reaching nearly 5000 primary school students in the Upper Grand. Our 2024 campaign will broaden access to bike-powered learning opportunities for youth, inspiring the next generation of water leaders with a focus on empowering women and girls through a twinning program with initiatives in both Canada and Kenya.
